Chauvin Guides International is a climbing guide and instruction service operating out of North Conway, New Hampshire in the middle of the spectacular White Mountains. We offer private guiding, courses, and group instruction in all the rock, alpine and ski mountaineering disciplines. CGI also offers the most highly developed avalanche program in the East. Our programs include guided ascents and instruction at basic, intermediate and advanced levels. Whether you are a beginning climber looking for your first experience in the mountains or an experienced rock or ice climber looking to improve your skills, CGI has the program that will best fit your needs. We guide and teach locally here in the White Mountains where our cliffs, ice flows and Mount Washington provide outstanding opportunities for rock climbing, ice climbing, mountaineering and ski mountaineering. If your goals include climbs in more exotic locations CGI also offers climbing and ski trips outside of our local area.

The guides at Chauvin Guides International have extensive experience climbing and guiding all over this country and in many other parts of the world. All CGI climbing and ski guides are certified by the American Mountain Guides Association (AMGA) in at least one guiding discipline or have completed formal AMGA courses and are pursuing certification. All GGI certified guides are also endorsed by The United States Mountain Guides Association for the disciplines in which they've been certified.
